* There are positive and negative aspects of haste.
→ You must avoid the negative and adopt the positive
* You must be hasty in obeying God's Word
★ Ecclesiastes 5:2 → "Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few."
* There is a possibility that anything you say in haste is likely to be wrong
★ Amos 2:12-14 → "But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not."
* Do not put people under pressure to live up to societal or religious Standards
→ This is especially so for those who are not married or are yet to give birth
* It is good to show love and care, but you must not put people under pressure
* If you realize that your questions and care is putting someone under pressure, please withdraw
→ Pray for them instead
★ 2 Corinthians 1:8 → "We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the
troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great
pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life
itself."
★ 2 Corinthians 1:4 → "who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
★ Prayer:
Comfort me Lord,
Help me to be a source of comfort to others,
Not a source of pressure
That will push anyone into undue haste
