* Topic: Cleansed Life (How to be Clean)
* Leader: Mr. Joseph Titus

1. What is the condition for cleansing and forgiveness?
1st John 1:9 → "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

* Confessing your sins is one of the conditions by which God will forgive you

2. What two (2) things did the Psalmist do about his sin in Psalm 32:5?
(a) He acknowledged his sin; and
(b) He confessed his sin to God

3. According to Proverbs 28:13 what is the result of not admitting sin?
→ The result is lack of prosperity
→ The result of admitting sin is finding mercy from God

4. What is confession of Sin and how is it done?
→ This is a deliberate attempt by the sinner to make right his relationship with God
→ Confession depends on the circumstance
→ Before confession, one must admit

5. What kind of prosperity does Proverbs 28:13 talk about?
→ Spiritually (your relationship with God is cut off due to unconfessed sin)
→ Peace with God is affected
→ Physically - The joy of the Lord will depart; expectations will be cut off

Matthew 6:33 →"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

* Once you seek spiritual property, physical prosperity will come with peace

* Topic: The Cleansed Life
* Leader: Mr. Habila Dung

OBJECTIVE
→ To learn and know the importance of living a cleansed life for as long as we live

MEMORY VERSE
*1 John 1:9 → "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

ASSIGNMENT
→ Read: John 13-15

INTRODUCTION
→ God does not use an unclean vessel for works of love and righteousness and power

* Question: Is every miracle-worker cleansed by God?

* Mark 16:17 → "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues."

* Some 'miracle-workers' and ministers of the Gospel use counterfiet powers to perform signs and wonders; However, some use God's divine power

* Cleansing proceeds in-filling (unless you are Holy, you cannot be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit)

* Double motives, un-confessed sins can hinder you from being filled with God's power

* God cannot fill those who:
(a) are carnally minded
(b) keep malice with others (hatred and bitterness)
(c) lack of trust in God and His Words
(d) entertain lustful desires (life, eyes & flesh)

* To be a filled vessel, you must be clean

* Question: How can you be able to recognize the vessel filled with God's power?
→ By the manifestation of the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)

* It is not everyone that falls down during prayer that is filled by the power of God
→ Some fall under the power of the anointing, while some fall under the power of the enemy

* When unclean spirits come in contact with the power of God, they screamed, fell, etc.

*NOTE: Satan and his agents always know those who are genuinely operating in the power of God!
