SERMON
* Speaker: Bro. Kefas Amos Tang'an
* Topic: [no data]
* Theme: Righteousness
* Text: John 6:47-63

* Unless you eat the 'flesh' of Jesus and 'drink' his blood, yon have no part in Him

* The Word of Jesus is bread - it gives strength, life, and righteousness. It nourishes our spirit

* Only the Word of God can establish you (firmly) so that you are not toasted around by the issues of life

* Life is in the blood; anyone who 'drinks' Jesus' blood will have eternal life

* Any servant of God that takes His (Jesus) Word, also takes authority with Him

* If the Word of God dwells in anyone, it shall show in his/her relationship with God and others - not living only as hearers of the Word (but doers)

* God (in Leviticus 11:1-12) commanded this people not to eat some categories of meat.

* The cloven foot is compared to worldliness - any foot that is not cloven (or hoof-divided) cannot stand its ground firmly when trials arise.

* Chewing the cud is compared to those who revise the Word after they have received it meditatively

* God is seeking those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth

* The world is like water. we live in the world, but we are not of the world

* Fishes with scales are compared to those protected by the Word of God from the staining world of sin

* Fins are compared to those that have the Sense of Direction (wisdom). These are the "non-compromisers" in a perverted world
